Q: What sets you apart from other photographers?

A: I have years of photography under my belt. Prior to launching my company, I spent years second shooting for brilliant photographers all over the country in order to learn from the best. I only shoot top of the line equipment (as well as my second shooter, who is a professional in his own right) and am comfortable in any and all lighting situations. 
On top of that, you get full access to me! I have a very hands on approach to each of my clients. I am your ultimate hype woman, who genuinely loves wedding photography which means, I live, sleep and breathe wedding photography, so even though I am "just" the photographer, I can help you with any questions you may have about planning your wedding or styling your wedding.  This is especially ideal for those who may not be familiar with New Orleans or who are overwhelmed with planning a destination wedding. 


Q: Will we get the print release to our photos after our wedding?

A: Yes! Upon receiving your images, you will also get a full print release.


Q: How many photographers will be there at our wedding?

A: My partner, Will & I, will be the two exclusive photographers at the wedding. A third shooter can be included upon request/cost. 


Q: Will my photos be posted publicly on your site or social media?

A: I respect the privacy of each of my clients. I will ask each of them if it is okay to blog or post or submit their shoot to a publication and have them sign a waver. It does not bother me at all if they would prefer to keep their images private.  


Q: Will you Photoshop my images to hide any unwanted spots, wrinkles, etc?

A: This is my favorite. I manually edit each and every one of your images in a way that will make you look your best, but no one will ever be able to tell you were photoshopped. During one of our first meetings, I ask "What are you self-conscious of?" I take that information and cater your posing and editing to that so you feel your most beautiful 

Q: Do you have a list of preferred vendors to use?

A: Depending on the city we are working in, yes I have a list of preferred vendors, but I love making connections and working with new people! But if you need recommendations, I am here to help! Also I am able to make a list of questions for you to ask other vendors.  


Q: Do I have to order prints through you?

A: You do not have to, but I highly recommend using professional print shops to print your photographs. This ensures the highest quality product. I offer after the wedding, a discount for going through me with my chosen vendors to help keep the price down. 


Q: What equipment do you use?

A: Exclusively Canon. Ask this question to every photographer you look into hiring. My Second Shooter and I both shoot Canon 5D Mark IV with the newest Red Ring glass on both prime and zoom lenses (zoom only 70-200). This insures the highest quality images coming from my equipment. By May of 2022 we will be fully transferred over to Mirrorless in order to provide even better quality for our clients. 


Q: Do you photograph destination weddings?

A: Yes! I have gotten to the point this past year where I photograph more weddings across the country instead of in the south, but I have a soft spot for my home in Jackson, MS and New Orleans. Now that boarders are reopening I am including outside of the United States. 


Q: How do we reserve our wedding date?

A: A 30% nonrefundable deposit & signed contract is required in order to get your wedding on the calendar and hold the date. The remainder of your balance is due two weeks prior to your wedding. We then immediately set up a coffee date to start planning your engagement shoot!
